It’s been raining the last few days and it makes me think of and miss Holland. The good part is that I don’t mind the rain anymore and actually enjoy it.

Today I enjoyed being indoors and cooking and baking with Juliana. The whole house smells good from the roasted brussel sprouts, roasted potatoes and fried pork loin chops with cumin and coriander.  

Juliana baked a flourless chocolate cake that didn’t quite turn out the way she had hoped and we had a good laugh over anyway.  I love having her in the kitchen with me, working side by side.
