Yesterday we took the new Dutch bakfiets to school. I don’t know who had more fun, me or the kids! You should have seen all the smiling faces as we road up to school. All the kids came up to check out the interesting new bike, wanting to go for a ride too. I’m so glad we got to bring this cool ride home from Holland.

What a brilliant idea! I can imagine the reaction of everyone on the road and at school! You may consider starting a new business: selling or renting bakfiets… 😉
That is such a good idea! We are thinking of using it as a fundraiser at school because all the kids wanted to go for a ride. The difference is they probably need to wear helmets by law! 😦
Don’t they only need it on bicycles, i.e. two-wealers? 😉 Your bakfiets has three weals…
Love it! So in Holland is the basket used as a ‘trunk.’ Like a place to store groceries? Or primarily for passengers?
