Day 284: Keukenhof – The World’s Largest Flower Garden

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is the world’s largest flower garden. It is situated near Lisse, Netherlands. Over 7,000,000 bulbs are planted each year.

Today was a warm and sunny day and perfect for wandering the fields with Rob and Wendy and their two dogs. We all had a great time taking pictures, enjoying the floral scents that filled the air, listening to live music and enjoying our time together. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures from this beautiful place.

Mama and Pops – I wish you were here with me today! You would have loved it.

Happy Liberation Day! Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

  1. That is simply LOVELY!! I will be thinking of you when my mom and I go up to visit Filoli for the Flower Show & tea on Friday. I so enjoyed doing that with you last year…..

  2. So beautiful! I’m so jealous–I wish I could have been there with you. I’m so glad you got to see it! Love, Kris

    • Did you notice the little spider in the right corner of the first picture of the orange-ish tulips? There was so much to see! The colors and the displays were spectacular. You would have loved it, Kris! Definitely worth a visit some day, but they are only open in April and May. Maybe one day…xo

      • I hadn’t noticed the spider, but I did notice that Julianna’s shirt matched the tulips perfectly. What a beautifully composed photo!

  3. I am always amazed at how many different kind of tulips there are. You surely have shown quite a few that are just so pretty. I wished I could have been with you guys. It looks like you really enjoyed it! So glad you all went!!! Love you for sharing!
